person who most seeks his approval. 21:21.480 --> 21:27.480 If a person's spouse is pure and immaculate, and if that person has moral virtue and is a believer, 21:27.480 --> 21:30.480 then of course they will be together in paradise. 21:30.480 --> 21:32.480 Almighty Allah makes that clear in verses. 21:32.480 --> 21:35.480 He says they are together with their spouses and children. 21:35.480 --> 21:37.480 Of course they will be together in the hereafter. 21:37.480 --> 21:39.480 People will have children in the hereafter. 21:39.480 --> 21:44.480 A person will be able to give birth whenever she wants a baby, after a very brief pregnancy. 21:44.480 --> 21:48.480 But it will involve no pain and will happen right away. 21:48.480 --> 21:50.480 It will happen the moment they desire it. 21:50.480 --> 21:53.480 That's the future of paradise. 21:53.480 --> 21:59.480 Let me say that what counts is one's position regarding faith in Allah, one's degree of belief in Allah. 21:59.480 --> 22:04.480 It doesn't matter to Allah whose spouse it is. 22:04.480 --> 22:12.480 For example, Abu Leheb's wife shared the same mindset and mentality for a rich reason put in the same place. 22:12.480 --> 22:17.480 But Pharaoh's wife was a believer and a chaste woman, and one worthy of paradise. 22:17.480 --> 22:20.480 She left him and didn't espouse his views. 22:20.480 --> 22:23.480 She didn't espouse his logic, his immoral philosophy. 22:23.480 --> 22:28.480 She followed along with the Prophet Moses, peace be upon him, and Allah has sent her to paradise. 22:28.480 --> 22:34.480 The Prophet Noah's wife, for instance, was a most abnormal woman, and Allah has put her in hell. 22:34.480 --> 22:37.480 Allah separated her from Noah, peace be upon him. 22:37.480 --> 22:40.480 Lot's wife was the same, and an unbeliever. 22:40.480 --> 22:41.480 Allah separated them. 22:41.480 --> 22:47.480 We can see from these few examples that it is fear of Allah to which Allah attaches importance. 22:47.480 --> 22:52.480 For example, an immoral person has a wife, a chaste believer. 22:52.480 --> 22:56.480 That woman leaves her husband, and Allah doesn't regard their union as valid. 22:56.480 --> 22:58.480 He separates them in the hereafter. 22:58.480 --> 23:04.480 She counts as single in the hereafter, and Allah will marry her to a male believer who has fear of Allah, 23:04.480 --> 23:08.480 whoever he regards as most desirous of his approval. 23:08.480 --> 23:13.480 Therefore, Allah's approval is the main criterion in such matters. 23:22.480 --> 23:24.480 In fact, Allah shows what we are. 23:24.480 --> 23:28.480 Allah appears to test what we are, but that is not actually the case. 23:28.480 --> 23:34.480 Looked at it in terms of ilm al-ladun, the knowledge of divine providence, that is not the case. 23:34.480 --> 23:36.480 Because Allah knew what we would do. 23:36.480 --> 23:38.480 He has sent us to paradise or to hell. 23:38.480 --> 23:43.480 So there is actually no question of being tested, of Allah investigating and learning about us. 23:43.480 --> 23:45.480 Allah already knows about us. 23:45.480 --> 23:48.480 He shows us to ourselves, shows us what we are. 23:48.480 --> 23:51.480 And we will experience the joy of that in paradise. 23:51.480 --> 23:55.480 We will say, we rendered such and such a service, did this and that. 23:55.480 --> 23:58.480 But in fact, it is Allah who engages in these deeds. 23:58.480 --> 24:03.480 For example, you are now exhibiting virtuous behavior, and inshaAllah you will go to paradise. 24:03.480 --> 24:09.480 If I see you have gone to paradise, then Allah willing, I will love you even more there. 24:09.480 --> 24:12.480 Because I will see the sacrifices you have made. 24:12.480 --> 24:15.480 I will see your virtues and lovable nature. 24:15.480 --> 24:17.480 I will know them in this world. 24:17.480 --> 24:21.480 Since I will go there with that knowledge, it will remain with me forever. 24:21.480 --> 24:24.480 And I will therefore love you forever with that knowledge. 24:24.480 --> 24:30.480 For example, one has a spouse, one sees their moral virtue, and that stays with one forever. 24:30.480 --> 24:35.480 That's why a man loves his wife more than he does Huris. 24:35.480 --> 24:37.480 It is because of that knowledge. 24:37.480 --> 24:46.480 Because he has seen her altruism, her courage, her fortitude, her kindness, her religious observances, and all other kinds of behavior. 24:46.480 --> 24:51.480 Since he has absorbed that information, it will remain with him for all eternity. 24:51.480 --> 24:54.480 And he will also love that knowledge. 24:54.480 --> 24:56.480 But that's not the case with Huris. 24:56.480 --> 24:59.480 He sees no virtue in Huris in this world. 24:59.480 --> 25:02.480 Huris have to be virtuous in the hereafter. 25:02.480 --> 25:05.480 That's why people love their wives far more in the hereafter. 25:05.480 --> 25:08.480 Because they see much more manifestations of Allah in her. 25:08.480 --> 25:10.480 They are in a more acceptable position. 25:10.480 --> 25:16.480 For example, our Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, refers to himself and adds 25:16.480 --> 25:23.480 Hamza peace be upon him, Hz Mehdi peace be upon him, and Hz Ali peace be upon him, and the companions saying, 25:23.480 --> 25:27.480 We are the Seyyid, that is the lords, of the people of paradise. 25:27.480 --> 25:28.480 Why? 25:28.480 --> 25:29.480 Because they all suffered. 25:29.480 --> 25:31.480 We will love them for that in the hereafter. 25:31.480 --> 25:36.480 Why do we admire the Prophet Joseph peace be upon him so much in the hereafter? 25:36.480 --> 25:37.480 Because he suffered hardship. 25:37.480 --> 25:40.480 Why do we admire the Prophet Moses peace be upon him? 25:40.480 --> 25:42.480 Because he suffered hardship. 25:42.480 --> 25:45.480 Because they displayed a powerful love of Allah. 25:45.480 --> 25:48.480 Because they felt such an intense and fervent love. 25:48.480 --> 25:52.480 For example, when we look at the gardens of paradise, we will lose our senses from love. 25:52.480 --> 25:55.480 The same is with its furniture, food and drink. 25:55.480 --> 26:00.480 But the truth of the matter is that all of these things will be bestowed as images. 26:00.480 --> 26:02.480 But people will not know they are images. 26:02.480 --> 26:04.480 They will be bestowed in the greatest clarity. 26:04.480 --> 26:08.480 One will be unable even to wonder whether they might be mere images. 26:08.480 --> 26:10.480 Nobody will have the power to do that. 26:10.480 --> 26:12.480 But these things will be given as images. 26:12.480 --> 26:16.480 They will exist on the outside, but that's how people will perceive them. 26:16.480 --> 26:19.480 They will perceive them in their brains, heads and souls. 26:19.480 --> 26:23.480 But the originals, matter, will exist on the outside in paradise. 26:23.480 --> 26:27.480 The original of matter does exist in the outside world. 26:27.480 --> 26:33.480 Our Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, says the mansions of paradise resemble crystal. 26:33.480 --> 26:35.480 People move in and out of them. 26:35.480 --> 26:39.480 There are small streams all around, small streams of paradise. 26:39.480 --> 26:41.480 Paradise consists of layers. 26:41.480 --> 26:46.480 Paradise consists of perfect houses, more beautiful than one can ever imagine. 26:46.480 --> 26:48.480 We are given a glimpse in this world. 26:48.480 --> 26:54.480 The houses of this world are still created in our brains and the dwellings of paradise will also be created in our brains. 26:54.480 --> 26:59.480 The birds and animals of paradise, everything will be created in our brains. 26:59.480 --> 27:02.480 We can never have direct experience of the original of paradise. 27:02.480 --> 27:07.480 There is an original, external paradise, but we will always experience the images of it. 27:07.480 --> 27:25.480 For instance, we now see the world, but although it is three-dimensional, the image we see is two-dimensional. 27:25.480 --> 27:28.480 That is a deficiency of this world. 27:28.480 --> 27:32.480 In paradise, the image will be very sharp and three-dimensional. 27:32.480 --> 27:34.480 It will be very clear. 27:34.480 --> 27:36.480 It is a very sound phenomenon. 27:36.480 --> 27:40.480 All senses, sounds and tastes will be very sharp and distinct. 27:40.480 --> 27:43.480 There is some kind of blurriness in this world. 27:43.480 --> 27:50.480 You cannot hear a sound that is far away, but in paradise, you will hear even the most distant noise. 27:50.480 --> 27:53.480 You can see the furthest object in paradise. 27:53.480 --> 27:58.480 Myopic eyes are very weak in this world, a weakness given to human beings. 27:58.480 --> 28:01.480 For example, you can detect the most far-off sand. 28:01.480 --> 28:04.480 You can reach the furthest thing instantaneously. 28:04.480 --> 28:07.480 You don't say it is too far away to get to. 28:07.480 --> 28:12.480 For example, you see a friend in the distance and you are by his side the next moment. 28:12.480 --> 28:17.480 He might be one million kilometers away, but you are still with him instantaneously. 28:17.480 --> 28:22.480 There is a speed that is even greater than that of light, the speed of imagination. 28:22.480 --> 28:27.480 With the speed of the imagination, a person reaches his destination immediately, 28:27.480 --> 28:32.480 while one still needs to follow a specific route when traveling at the speed of light, 28:32.480 --> 28:36.480 but not there, which is created so one can be there instantaneously. 28:36.480 --> 28:39.480 By Allah's leave, these things will happen. 28:39.480 --> 28:43.480 It is useful for us to know the general 29:15.480 Allah says that our vision on that day will be very sharp. 29:15.480 --> 29:29.480 It will have an extraordinary nature. 29:29.480 --> 29:34.480 People have no internal organs, but their eyes see, their ears hear, 29:34.480 --> 29:37.480 and these things reach the brain. 29:37.480 --> 29:40.480 People will see directly without the need for anything. 29:40.480 --> 29:43.480 All natural causes will be done away with. 29:43.480 --> 29:48.480 For example, a car will run by itself without having an engine or any petrol in it. 29:48.480 --> 29:50.480 It will just go by itself. 29:50.480 --> 29:52.480 There will be illumination. 29:52.480 --> 29:55.480 Things will be illuminated without the sun. 29:55.480 --> 29:58.480 The objects in paradise light themselves. 29:58.480 --> 30:02.480 The sun is needed in this world, a direct cause. 30:02.480 --> 30:05.480 But since there are no such direct causes in the hereafter, 30:05.480 --> 30:09.480 things will eliminate themselves in the absence of direct causes. 30:09.480 --> 30:14.480 Allah says that fruit and vegetables never decrease in quantity. 30:14.480 --> 30:19.480 The moment a piece of fruit is picked, another piece appears. 30:19.480 --> 30:22.480 You can eat as much as you like and it will be replaced. 30:22.480 --> 30:25.480 Paradise is the abode of happiness. 30:25.480 --> 30:38.480 Allah says of paradise that no earthly desire has tasted and no eye seen it. 30:38.480 --> 30:41.480 It is utterly amazing and most beautiful. 30:41.480 --> 30:46.480 One of the best features of paradise is that nowhere grows old or fades, 30:46.480 --> 30:48.480 and everything is positive. 30:48.480 --> 30:52.480 As you know, everything is created with its opposite in this world. 30:52.480 --> 30:54.480 Like good and bad or day and night, 30:54.480 --> 30:57.480 in paradise there will be only positive aspects. 30:57.480 --> 30:59.480 That's the artistry of Allah. 30:59.480 --> 31:03.480 The gate of paradise is uniquely beautiful. 31:03.480 --> 31:07.480 You look at the doors of the houses and they are all separately decorated. 31:07.480 --> 31:09.480 The chairs have a beauty of their own. 31:09.480 --> 31:13.480 So we look at those beauties and give constant thanks to Allah. 31:13.480 --> 31:16.480 The human soul burns with love of Allah in paradise. 31:16.480 --> 31:20.480 You look at the picture in paradise and you give thanks to Allah. 31:20.480 --> 31:21.480 You can even talk to it. 31:21.480 --> 31:25.480 You can tell it to turn a bit to the right and it will do so. 31:25.480 --> 31:29.480 And if you tell it to bring you a cool drink, it will bring you one. 31:29.480 --> 31:32.480 Pour it out, you say, and it will pour it into a glass. 31:32.480 --> 31:36.480 Go back to your place, you say, and back it goes. 31:36.480 --> 31:41.480 Paradise is very pleasant and entertaining like that. 31:41.480 --> 31:44.480 Allah has created it specially to be like that. 31:44.480 --> 31:47.480 But in this world we are bound by direct causes. 31:47.480 --> 31:51.480 I cannot bring something to me without stretching my hand out for it. 31:51.480 --> 31:53.480 I am bound by direct causes. 31:53.480 --> 31:55.480 Yet it's not my hand that brings it here. 31:55.480 --> 31:58.480 Allah creates that in my head. 31:58.480 --> 32:01.480 He creates my hand as the direct cause. 32:01.480 --> 32:03.480 There are always direct causes here. 32:03.480 --> 32:07.480 For instance, were it not for the camera here, they could not see me. 32:07.480 --> 32:09.480 But there is no need for cameras in heaven. 32:09.480 --> 32:11.480 It is created without direct causes. 32:11.480 --> 32:15.480 For example, in paradise, your brother can look and see you. 32:15.480 --> 32:18.480 In other words, there is no need for a camera system. 32:18.480 --> 32:22.480 For instance, it is enough for him to wish to see someone to see them. 32:22.480 --> 32:23.480 The image forms. 32:23.480 --> 32:27.480 But here you have to turn on the television, press the buttons, 32:27.480 --> 32:29.480 and there have to be the cameras and lighting. 32:29.480 --> 32:32.480 Several direct causes have to be created. 32:32.480 32:40.480 everyone would believe. 32:40.480 --> 32:42.480 And the test will be lifted. 32:42.480 --> 32:47.480 Satellite antenna and cameras are used as instruments so the test should continue. 32:47.480 --> 32:52.480 And people are not visible to us in their homes without satellite antenna and cameras. 32:52.480 --> 32:55.480 Images are created as a miracle in every home. 32:55.480 --> 32:58.480 Allah creates them as a miracle in every home. 32:58.480 --> 33:01.480 He uses the camera and satellite systems as his instruments. 33:01.480 --> 33:05.480 He creates them so people will regard the phenomenon as quite normal, 33:05.480 --> 33:10.480 though the fact is that images are directly created in everyone's brain. 33:10.480 --> 33:15.480 For example, he says, there are such mentions in paradise that people on the inside can see the outside, 33:15.480 --> 33:19.480 and those on the outside can see the inside, 33:19.480 --> 33:22.480 a mansion made entirely out of crystal, for instance. 33:22.480 --> 33:25.480 One day the messenger said that there are such mentions in paradise 33:25.480 --> 33:30.480 that there were no hooks to hold them up and no pillars to prop them up. 33:30.480 --> 33:34.480 The people who heard this asked how the inhabitants would enter those mansions. 33:34.480 --> 33:40.480 The messenger, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said they would fly in like birds. 33:40.480 --> 33:44.480 But here, of course, we need an engine to fly from one place to another, 33:44.480 --> 33:47.480 or a propeller, we need a direct cause. 33:47.480 --> 33:50.480 We fly but using vehicles to do so. 33:50.480 --> 33:53.480 Those vehicles do not apply in paradise. 33:53.480 --> 33:55.480 There is no need for any vehicle. 33:55.480 --> 33:57.480 Everything happens by people just thinking of it. 33:57.480 --> 34:01.480 Like in a dream, for instance, when we want to fly, we use a plane. 34:01.480 --> 34:05.480 We get in a vehicle and go to the airport and board the plane, 34:05.480 --> 34:08.480 and we fly by means of the engine of the plane. 34:08.480 --> 34:11.480 The plane then lands in Ankara, say. 34:11.480 --> 34:13.480 We get our bags and a light. 34:13.480 --> 34:15.480 We experience this all very perfectly. 34:15.480 --> 34:19.480 We later realize we were asleep and it was all a dream. 34:19.480 --> 34:23.480 But the plane there needs no petrol or diesel or anything. 34:23.480 --> 34:25.480 That's what paradise is like. 34:25.480 --> 34:27.480 This is also the case in this world. 34:27.480 --> 34:29.480 For example, I want to drink some tea. 34:29.480 --> 34:32.480 It appears that I stretch my hand out for it, 34:32.480 --> 34:35.480 though it is actually Allah who brings the cup to my lips. 34:35.480 --> 34:37.480 My hand doesn't bring the tea to me. 34:37.480 --> 34:40.480 Allah just uses it as a direct cause. 34:40.480 --> 34:43.480 It is also Allah who creates the tea in the cup. 34:43.480 --> 34:45.480 A person cannot do this. 34:45.480 --> 34:51.480 It's a law of Allah, but one that everyone who makes a deep use of his mind can comprehend. 34:51.480 --> 35:00.480 Otherwise, a person who becomes caught up with superficial direct causes imagines that everything is the result of such direct causes. 35:00.480 --> 35:05.480 He imagines that biscuits come from a factory or meat from the butcher's shop. 35:05.480 --> 35:06.480 But Allah creates the meat. 35:06.480 --> 35:08.480 It is created at that moment. 35:08.480 --> 35:13.480 You imagine it comes from the store, but Allah uses this store as a direct cause. 35:13.480 --> 35:15.480 Tables are laid. 35:15.480 --> 35:16.480 Allah sets all tables. 35:16.480 --> 35:22.480 Tables are set as a miracle, but people are unaware of this because of the direct causes involved. 35:22.480 --> 35:25.480 Since these direct causes do not apply in paradise, 35:25.480 --> 35:30.480 tables are set all of a sudden, for it forms instantaneously. 35:30.480 --> 35:34.480 There are no direct causes involved in an object going from one place to another. 35:34.480 --> 35:39.480 For instance, the cars in paradise need no engine and petrol. 35:39.480 --> 35:41.480 They just move spontaneously. 35:41.480 --> 35:44.480 Cars in this world do need engines and petrol, though. 35:44.480 --> 35:47.480 There need to be direct causes for them to move. 35:47.480 --> 35:50.480 If cars were to move without engines and petrol, 35:50.480 --> 35:55.480 people would no longer enjoy the use of their freewheels and would have to have faith. 35:55.480 --> 36:00.480 But since there is no test in paradise, there are no direct causes either. 36:00.480 --> 36:02.480 Everything moves of its own accord. 36:02.480 --> 36:06.480 People just have to think of it to imagine it for it to happen. 36:16.480 --> 36:19.480 All the objects in paradise are intelligent. 36:19.480 --> 36:21.480 They all have understanding. 36:21.480 --> 36:24.480 In order for us to turn the television on here, 36:24.480 --> 36:27.480 for instance, we press the remote and it comes on. 36:27.480 --> 36:29.480 But it's again Allah who turns the television on. 36:29.480 --> 36:31.480 A miracle takes place. 36:31.480 --> 36:34.480 Though Allah appears to use the remote as a direct cause. 36:34.480 --> 36:37.480 But there are no such direct causes in paradise. 36:37.480 --> 36:41.480 For example, if you tell that flower ball to come to you, it does so. 36:41.480 --> 36:46.480 You pick a fruit from its tree and as soon as you do so, it reappears in the tree. 36:46.480 --> 36:47.480 You eat food for instance. 36:47.480 --> 36:51.480 As you keep eating that food, it keeps reappearing in the dish. 36:51.480 --> 36:56.480 And that's perfectly logical because Allah creates it as an image in our brains. 36:56.480 --> 37:02.480 Matter does exist on the outside, but we have direct experience of an image of it in our brains. 37:02.480 --> 37:05.480 And it's logical for the image not to come to an end. 37:05.480 --> 37:10.480 It would be a miracle if the image did come to an end for the food we are eating to be finished. 37:10.480 --> 37:13.480 For example, there is no dust or dirt in paradise. 37:13.480 --> 37:18.480 There is no blurring in anything we normally experience as an image. 37:18.480 --> 37:20.480 We watch a film and there is no blurring. 37:20.480 --> 37:26.480 Even if you watch the film a thousand times, it will still be pristine and the image will never be spoiled. 37:26.480 --> 37:32.480 Allah says that in the hereafter, He will cause Muslims to live in the very finest places. 37:32.480 --> 37:36.480 Allah is referring to mansions, to the tents of paradise. 37:36.480 --> 37:39.480 These are the most lovely places one can imagine. 37:39.480 --> 37:42.480 Perfect images created instinctively. 37:42.480 --> 37:47.480 When we eat fruit, we will say, this is the fruit we have always been longing for. 37:47.480 --> 37:52.480 When we see a woman there, we will say that she is the kind of woman we have always longed for. 37:52.480 --> 37:57.480 When we see a house, we will say that is the kind of house we have always longed for. 37:57.480 --> 38:03.480 Allah says there are smaller rivers, streams of gold running in general curves, as well as bigger rivers. 38:03.480 --> 38:07.480 People have a natural love of water and Allah creates this as an instinct. 38:07.480 --> 38:10.480 For example, the sea lifts our spirit when we see it. 38:10.480 --> 38:17.480 Houses built on places with views of the sea or along the sides of lakes are always more expensive, aren't they? 38:17.480 --> 38:20.480 Allah bestows this as a heavenly instinct. 38:20.480 --> 38:24.480 We have an instinct that draws us to water, a love of water. 38:24.480 --> 38:29.480 We have a love of beautiful places, but this is never satisfied in this world, 38:29.480 --> 38:32.480 though it still exists as an instinct inside us. 38:32.480 --> 38:38.480 For instance, there are no perfect women in this world, and no perfect homes or perfect fruit. 38:38.480 --> 38:40.480 But we still feel this instinctively. 38:40.480 --> 38:46.480 When we eat an apple, we say that there must be better fruit than this somewhere, but we cannot find. 38:46.480 --> 38:49.480 Yet in paradise there is the best of everything. 38:49.480 --> 38:53.480 For example, you pick an apple, but that apple is still on the branch. 38:53.480 --> 38:55.480 You eat, but you are not satisfied. 38:55.480 --> 38:57.480 And there is always food in the ball. 38:57.480 --> 39:00.480 You tell the ball to come to you, and up it gets. 39:00.480 --> 39:02.480 It is intelligent. Everything is intelligent. 39:02.480 --> 39:05.480 In fact, the mind of Allah is everywhere. 39:05.480 --> 39:08.480 But he doesn't put it into action for us here. 39:08.480 --> 39:12.480 That is what happened with the Prophet Moses, peace be upon him, staff. 39:12.480 --> 39:14.480 The mind and power of Allah are everywhere. 39:14.480 --> 39:18.480 The might of Allah was also in the Prophet Moses, peace be upon him, staff. 39:18.480 --> 39:25.480 Moses, peace be upon him, cast the staff down, and Allah turned it into a snake that very moment. 39:25.480 --> 39:27.480 This is something quite extraordinary. 39:27.480 --> 39:32.480 He then told the Prophet Moses, peace be upon him, to pick it up, and when he did so, 39:32.480 --> 39:35.480 it straight away turned back into a staff. 39:35.480 --> 39:39.480 Wood turns into a snake, and then the snake turns back into wood. 39:39.480 --> 39:43.480 That is also how it is in paradise.
