appointed for life of this world. 02:19.660 --> 02:30.180 Allah has given us a great deal of information about the doomsday and the events that will take place during it in several verses of the holy terror that will be experienced when the Hour of Doom comes. 05:06.240 --> 05:15.760 They are even unable to bear to look at a newspaper report or a film about a catastrophe or disaster reminding them this great truth are in a great unawareness. 05:28.940 --> 05:38.160 Because in His verses, Allah reveals that the Hour of Doom is very close and that this is a matter on which there is no room for come to a flawless and glorious end. 06:38.780 --> 06:42.780 The Earth is rapidly approaching the end appointed for it, 06:42.780 --> 06:48.780 and the signs foretelling that end are taking place one after the other in the present day. 06:48.780 --> 06:58.160 The End 07:18.780 --> 07:32.280 Many of our prophets, peace be upon him, hadiths, are about the signs of the Judgment Day. 07:32.280 --> 07:40.680 In the hadith, our prophet, peace be upon him, has not only provided information about the portents of the Judgment Day, 07:41.320 --> 07:45.920 but has also given detailed statements about the period immediately preceding it. 07:45.920 --> 07:53.360 This period, in which the portents of the Judgment Day will appear, is known as the End Times. 07:53.800 --> 07:57.800 Some of the events we are told will take place during this period are 07:57.800 --> 08:03.940 a climate of war and chaos pervading the world, 08:04.420 --> 08:07.960 an increase in earthquakes and natural disasters, 08:08.600 --> 08:10.520 strife occurring everywhere, 08:10.520 --> 08:13.140 the destruction of great cities, 08:13.760 --> 08:18.520 the abandonment of the true faith and the moral values of the Qur'an, 08:18.940 --> 08:21.580 forbidden things being regarded as lawful, 08:21.920 --> 08:24.520 the spread of poverty and hunger, 08:25.040 --> 08:27.060 social and moral degeneration, 08:27.740 --> 08:29.900 the emergence of health epidemics, 08:30.400 --> 08:33.680 the taking place of great and astonishing events, 08:34.120 --> 08:35.440 the shortening of time, 08:35.740 --> 08:37.580 a rise in urbanization, 08:37.580 --> 08:40.340 the construction of tall buildings, 08:41.060 --> 08:43.000 a lengthening of lifespans, 08:43.480 --> 08:45.540 major advances in technology. 08:47.140 --> 08:54.400 These are phenomena that began taking place one after the other at the beginning of the 20th century, 08:54.640 --> 08:58.600 and that are still carrying on doing so at the same pace. 08:58.860 --> 09:02.140 Yet one very important reminder needs to be issued here. 09:02.140 --> 09:15.240 Some of the signs revealed in the Hadith may to a certain extent have taken place at any period during the 1400 year history of Islam in any part of the world. 09:15.700 --> 09:22.200 Yet such a thing does not mean that the period in question is actually the End Times. 09:22.200 --> 09:27.680 Because in order for a period to be described as the End Times, 09:28.000 --> 09:34.440 all of the signs of the Judgment Day have to take place consecutively in exactly the same age. 09:35.200 --> the Hadith of our Prophet, peace be upon him, is the rising of the sun in the West. 11:43.340 --> 11:50.340 It is also revealed in the Hadith that the Judgment Day will not arrive until this portent There is no doubt that Allah knows the truth. Allah knows the 16:44.120 --> 16:50.220 reason for the birth of the sun in the West that will be seen. And if by the leave of Allah, 16:56.500 --> 17:04.380 it will turn backwards in its course by striking another star. And the sun will thus rise in the West. 17:11.100 --> 17:18.980 Yes, if Allah, who binds the world to the sun and the earth to the heavens, eliminates the gravitational 17:18.980 --> 17:26.620 attraction of the Quran, his powerful thread, the thread of the globe will break. It will move at random 17:26.620 --> 17:33.860 and the sun will rise in the West because of its backward and irregular motion. And the judgment day 17:33.860 --> 17:43.700 will take place by Allah's leave as a result of this impact. Bidi Uzman Syed Nursi has described in 17:43.700 --> 17:51.740 several places in his treatise how this portent will be fulfilled by the earth striking a star or meteorite. 17:51.740 --> 17:59.620 In the wake of this collision, which will occur by Allah's leave, the earth's orbit will be reversed, 17:59.620 --> 18:07.020 and it will begin rotating from east to west rather than from west to east. And this will result in the 18:07.020 --> 18:13.380 sun rising in the West, not in the East, unless yet another of the great signs of the judgment day 18:13.380 --> 18:20.900 imparted by our Prophet, peace be upon him, will have been fulfilled. Bidi Uzman Syed Nursi tells us that 18:20.900 --> 18:27.540 the judgment day will take place in the wake of this event. It is Allah who knows the truth of this. 18:30.500 --> 18:37.060 This striking and rocking revealed by Bidi Uzman in interpreting the hadith of our Prophet, 18:37.060 --> 18:45.460 peace be upon him, is also revealed by our Lord in the Holy Quran. In Surah Al-Nazi'at, it is revealed that 18:45.460 --> 18:51.780 on the day the first blast shudders and the second blast follows it. 18:59.700 --> 19:06.660 Two major blasts are referred to in this verse. The first of these may be great shock that will take 19:06.660 --> 19:12.580 place with our earth colliding with a comet or meteorite, and Allah knows best. 19:15.940 --> 19:22.420 The first impact will halt the revolution of our earth, which has been continuing in perfect 19:22.420 --> 19:28.420 regularity for millions of years. This will shatter the equilibrium of the earth. 19:28.420 --> 19:37.540 Day and night will cease and one side of the earth will remain in darkness for days, while day on the 19:37.540 --> 19:44.180 other side will never end. People will be cast into confusion by this change, and the earth will be 19:44.180 --> 19:51.620 filled with terror, fear and a state of panic. The earth's crust will begin moving and earthquakes will 19:51.620 --> 19:59.700 take place all over the world. Severe volcanic eruptions and the flow of magma over the earth will further 19:59.700 --> 20:10.900 increase this terror, fear and panic. Yet our Lord reveals that the first shock will be followed by a 20:10.900 --> 20:18.660 second. He may be indicating by means of this verse that a second impact will take place, and Allah knows best. 20:18.660 --> 20:28.740 The terror people feel will be even further intensified by the second impact. With this impact, the earth will 20:28.740 --> 20:36.660 begin revolving in the opposite direction. The earth, which has flawlessly revolved from west to east for 20:36.660 --> 20:45.940 millions of years, never missing for even a second, will begin revolving from east to west. As a result, the sun will 20:45.940 --> 20:54.820 rise in the west rather than in the east. However, these impacts and the change in direction of the rotation of the 20:54.820 --> 21:03.780 earth will also damage the ecological system that permits order on earth and the survival of all living things. The 21:03.780 --> 21:11.780 terror among people will increase even further, and the process whereby the living things and the world itself cease to 21:11.780 --> 21:20.020 exist will commence. Our Lord reveals people's state of mind in the wake of these shocks and surah and nazi'at. 21:20.020 --> 21:32.260 hearts that day will be pounding, and eyes will be cast down. 21:32.260 --> 21:50.580 everyone who lives to see that day will realize that the earth has finally come to an end and will 21:50.580 --> 21:58.260 acquire indisputable knowledge of the existence of the hereafter. well-known scientist Carl Sagan describes the events that took place when the Tunguska meteor struck. 24:48.260 --> 24:58.260 In the early morning hours of June 30th, 1908, in central Siberia, a giant Another instance is a meteor of some 100 kilometers in size that struck the Gulf of Yucatan in Mexico. 25:43.260 --> 25:53.260 The age of the dinosaurs came to an end in the wake of this meteor strike that took place around 65 million years ago. 25:57.260 --> 26:11.260 An examination of what took place during this impact will help us understand the kind of likely effects of the two impacts photosynthesis came to a halt. 27:22.260 --> 27:30.260 Scientists report that if photosynthesis stopped for just one year, the whole ecosystem would collapse as a result. 27:30.260 --> 27:48.260 Because 99.9% of life on Earth is dependent upon the sun and the elimination of the sun means the elimination of the first precondition for life. 27:48.260 --> 27:55.260 Therefore, long-term blocking out of sunlight altered the ecological system on Earth. 27:55.260 --> 28:02.260 With the disappearance of plants and planktons, there was a sudden drop in the world's oxygen levels. 28:02.260 -->
