He who bestows wealth, on whom he pleases

True wealth belongs to Allah alone

He greatly enriches whomsoever He wishes

while testing others with poverty for a time

The wealth, property and possessions that people enjoy in this world

In fact belong to Allah alone

00:35.000 --> 00:39.000
Nobody will be able to take any of his belongings with him after he dies

00:39.000 --> 00:42.000
He will have to leave behind everything he worked for

00:42.000 --> 00:44.000
And amassed during his lifetime

00:44.000 --> 00:47.000
Allah says this in the Quran about those people

Who still boast of enjoying great wealth and possessions

00:50.000 --> 00:55.000
Whose wealth makes them proud and forget our Lord as a result

I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan

Do they imagine that in the wealth and children we extend to them

01:08.000 --> 01:11.000
We are hastening to them with good things?

01:11.000 --> 01:14.000
No indeed, but they have no awareness

01:14.000 --> 01:24.000
The messengers of Allah used the possessions he bestowed on them

01:24.000 --> 01:27.000
On good works intended to please our Lord

01:27.000 --> 01:29.000
And earn his approval

01:29.000 --> 01:32.000
They spent all they possessed for very different purposes

01:32.000 --> 01:35.000
Than those whose wealth makes them proud

01:35.000 --> 01:37.000
And who forget the true Lord of all things

01:37.000 --> 01:40.000
Allah, Lord of all things in the universe

01:40.000 --> 01:42.000
And the sole creator of all

01:42.000 --> 01:46.000
Bestows wealth on whomever he pleases in this world

01:46.000 --> 01:49.000
But it is in the hereafter that he will bestow true wealth

01:49.000 --> 01:51.000
All believers who have faith in him

01:51.000 --> 01:53.000
Who spend their lives doing good works

01:53.000 --> 01:55.000
And thus seek to earn his approval

01:55.000 --> 01:58.000
Will be blessed with great wealth in the hereafter

01:58.000 --> 02:05.000
Allah says this about paradise in the Quran

02:05.000 --> 02:10.000
I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan

02:10.000 --> 02:13.000
Seeing them you see delight in a great kingdom

02:13.000 --> 02:17.000
They will wear green garments of fine silk and rich brocade

02:17.000 --> 02:20.000
They will be adorned with silver bracelets

02:20.000 --> 02:24.000
And their Lord will give them a pure draught to drink

02:24.000 --> 02:26.000
This is your reward

02:26.000 --> 02:28.000
Your striving is fully acknowledged
